Changes to Tuesday collections:

Tuesday 31 December collections will be two days late on Thursday 2 January 2014

Tuesday 7 January collections will be one day late onWednesday 8 January 2014

Remember to recycle:

In your blue bin:

  • Plastic bottles
  • Plastic packaging (pots, tubs and trays)
  • Plastic bags
  • Plastic film and clean food wrapping
  • Glass bottles and jars
  • Food and drink cans – should be rinsed
  • Aerosols
  • Tin foil and foil trays – should be rinsed
  • Cartons
  • Cardboard
  • Wrapping paper
  • Christmas cards – can also be cut up and used as present tags

In your paper caddy:

  • Newspapers and magazines
  • Telephone directories
  • Catalogues
  • Envelopes (with or without windows)
  • Junk mail
  • Shredded paper (if possible please place into an envelope)

In your green bin:

  • Cooked and uncooked food waste (inc meat, fish and dairy)
  • Garden waste
  • Christmas tree (real) – must be cut into pieces
