The South Cambs District Council road show gathering views about the Local Plan comes to Histon & Impington on Thursday 5th September.
The road show will be at the Pavilion at the Recreation Ground between 2.30pm and 7.30pm. for members of the public to view proposed policies and plans for further development within South Cambridgeshire.
Those plans and policies affecting Histon & Impington include those that will see further development off Impington Lane into the green belt and also those aiming to regenerate the area around Histon Station.
Comments can be made at the exhibition or online.
HIVAG have issued guidance for those who wish to respond on-line. There is also the opportunity on their website to look at (and sign up to the petition at) theCambridge Green Belt Campaign which is protesting about the amount of green belt land being allocated for development in the draft plan.
The Parish Council is developing their response to the draft plan, and would welcome your support for its proposals for the station area, currently under threat from the development plans for the Bishops site, and also against further development in the village without the corresponding improvement in facilities.
