March 4 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
At the next HIAG talk, at 7:30pm on Monday 11th March at Histon Baptist Church, Carenza Lewis will give an overview of the community archaeological investigations of rural settlements and how the test pits we have dug in Histon and Impington fit into the overall picture.
While teaching in the Department of Archaeology at the University of Cambridge, Carenza launched Access Cambridge Archaeology and was instrumental in encouraging a vibrant community archaeology movement in Cambridgeshire and beyond, as well as establishing the standard methodology that we now use.
However, she will be best known to many as one of the presenters of Chanel 4’s Time Team series, and Michael Wood’s The Great British Story – A People’s History. She is now Professor of Public Understanding of Research at the University of Lincoln.
We look forward to seeing you at the talk.
