On Saturday 22 March there will be a bike ride for children with their parents. We will gather at the Crossing Keepers Hut at 2pm and ride down the guided busway track. The kids can hoon around the little wood for a few minutes before we set off about 2.15 and ride out for 45mins. At 3pm we all turn back and the aim is for the group who got the furthest to catch the rest before getting back! It adds a little incentive/competition. If we all bring snacks we can either fuel up along the way and or save and have a short social time at the end. Parents are responsible for their children at all times.
This has come about from a small gathering of dads who want to encourage our kids to ride. It is also one strand of the newly re-formed Histon and Impington Bicycle Club (more details will appear soon on this one)
